When we experience pain in our lives - whether in the form of depression, from a traumatic experience, in response to a loss, or as a result of life's inherent struggles - I believe we are challenged to seek understanding and healing. My office is a place to be heard, seen, and appreciated while navigating that journey.
I work with adults of all ages who have a diverse range of challenges and concerns. I'm committed to establishing safety and trust and providing a space free of judgment. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the understanding that my clients know themselves best. I bring a highly individualized and Person-Centered approach to each unique individual person, using principles of Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Existential Therapy as well as concepts from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I'm experienced working with individuals encountering depression, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, the effects of trauma, and the existential challenges of life. I welcome the opportunity to work with college and graduate students as well as with teachers, and I also have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
The therapeutic process is a transformative one, and I am passionate about providing the space and security for it to unfold. It is a true privilege to work with individuals as they learn about themselves, make changes in their lives, and create meaning within their experiences. I appreciate how challenging it can be to seek support and to make oneself vulnerable, and I am here to provide a safe presence for you to explore what's on your mind.
